Jobs Australia Midland is a part of Eastern Region Employment and Community Services Inc (ERECS), a registered charity and community based organisation formed in the 1970's to assist people living in poverty or who are unemployed or disadvantaged, improve their lives. Our vision is "excellence in the provision of services to overcome disadvantage".
Assisting people achieve sustainable employment is a major factor in overcoming poverty and disadvantage. Jobs Australia Midland has delivered a range of employment preparation, training, support and employment placement services for more than 30 years.
We were highly successful members of the Job Network for more than 10 years and have recently been contracted by Communicare Inc to provide the new "Jobs Services Australia" in Midland on their behalf enabling us to continue our core business of placing and supporting people into sustainable employment.
We work actively with business, government and our colleagues in the community sector to promote employment, economic and community development in our region.
As a not for profit organisation we also provide a range of services as Community Key – building a better community. Profits from our employment services contract enable us to support the Women’s Refuge and other local initiatives; to provide assistance to individuals experiencing poverty; and to offer a counselling service to people suffering from poverty, domestic violence or mental health issues. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
