Making Interviews work for youThe following tips may help you select the right employee: |
- Prepare a standard list of questions to ask all applicants. Remember the best employee may not necessarily be the one who 'looks the part' when they arrive for interview.
- Make notes from each interview. Not only will this help you to make your selection but may save time if your original selection doesn't work out, or if you need an extra person a short time later.
- Take time over making your selection. Extra time spent at this stage can prevent disappointment and frustration. Ring our staff for additional information on the applicant’s referee reports, or to discuss the applicants further.
The following questions are suggestions which may assist you conduct an effective interview:
